i'm a spider is a short music video about a spider being a spider. Like chairs (2021), it was intentionally low effort, but all material used in the film was made within one week. The looping spider animation is smoothly, unnaturally, and sarcastically tweened across the live action landscapes, never looking away from the camera. The hip-hop track that the spider seemingly wrote is actually an AI recreation of the voice of Notorious B.I.G., powered by the text-to-speech web tool Uberduck.ai.
